How to cook Chicken Teriyaki at home

Chicken Teriyaki is one of popular Japanese dishes, which is available in most fusion or Japanese restaurants. Chicken Teriyaki is well balanced by chicken and vegetables with tasty aroma. Without doubts, this cuisine is also my family's favorite all the time. Especially, when our little girl is not interested in eating foods, Chicken Teriyaki is our choice to give her a good appetite. I know there are hundreds of recipes of Chicken Teriyaki in Internet. However, I wanna show you how to cook Chicken Teriyaki at home not in their styles but in our style...Hmm...Challenging!!!

Ingredients
  • Chicken thigh 5
  • Mushroom 5
  • Pepper 3
  • Onion 1/2
  • Carrot 1
  • Crushed garlic 1/2 teaspoon
  • Soy sauce 5 spoon
  • Sugar 1/2 spoon
  • Bay leaves 3
  • Water 120 ml

How to cook
  1. Wash chicken thighs gently and make cuts in the chicken
  2. Pour water and soy sauce in sauce pan and boil them
  3. When the water boils, put the chicken thighs and bay leaves and boil them for 25 minutes over medium (not so high)heat (you can add some wine instead of bay leaves)
  4. After 25 minutes, put diced vegetables in the pan
  5. And cook 10 minutes more (do not stir too much). Keep watch the sauce pan to check whether the water evaporates or not (not to evporate all the water^^).
That it!!! Here we go...
